Is it normal that i stop liking someone the moment they like me back?

Im 21 and never had a boyfriend, Im very shy and usually get crushes on guys, but if a guy I like shows any interest on me, then I immediately feel disgusted about him, sometimes I would be afraid of him, or unreasonably think that there is something wrong with him. Its a very strong feeling and I just can't get over it. Its like the guy of my dreams would turn into a creep the minute they start liking me back.

I really want to be in a relationship, its my biggest desire right now, I just don't know what to do.

    If you believe you dont deserve someone who actually likes you, when they start liking you you push them away. It is important to recognize your self worth. That being said if you get bad vibes from someone, trust your gut.

    A lot of times it is the chase both men and women enjoy more than actually "getting" the person. That's why a lot of people are attracted to those that are hard to get or unattainable and lose interest if someone gives it up too easily.

    In your situation it almost sounds like you have such low self esteem and self worth that you lose respect for someone that shows interest in you? No one can really help you except maybe a counselor or therapist, or yourself. Until you realize that you you are worthy of attraction, adoration, and ultimately love- and someone who feels that way about you is worthy as well.
