Is it normal that I still wear a mask after being vaccinated?

  • The primary benefit of masks has always been to reduce the chance of those who unknowingly have the virus passing it on. There is some protection to the mask-wearer, but the microscopic holes in most masks are large enough to potentially allow through the minuscule droplets which the virus travels on.

This is why many people find mask-refusers so disgusting. Refusing to wear a mask indicates that you simply do not give a flying fuck about the wellbeing of anyone you encounter.

You wearing a mask will make those you come across - the ones who actually have a functional brain, anyway - a tiny bit more comfortable, or at least not contribute to raising their level of anxiety any higher.
