Is it normal that i still refuse to be vegan because of this?

I refuse to go vegan because when I do eat vegan stuff my IBS ( irritable bowel syndrome ) gets a lot worse, sometimes I mess myself up and most of the time I develop deficiencies such as Vitamin B12/Iron and zinc and so on which made me refuse to take part in veganuary ( which is something that those vegan people made up ), this therefore meant I gave up on veganism ever since 2 years ago from when I started being vegan it is worsening up my body. Since last year I stopped being vegan because I knew myself that I didn't want to die from a simple vitamin deficiency.

It's your body, and your digestive system so do what is best for your body, and best for your health.

Some people cannot be vegan due to health problems, it's not normal and just something you gotta deal with.
Maybe you can be vegetarian or pescatarian instead.

I also did a vegan diet for a while. I did manage to lose weight but after a few months I developed really bad knee problems. I also noticed my cheeks were sinking in and I just looked abit older. When I stopped things got better. I looked younger in the face a few weeks after I started eating meat. I will say I felt good on the diet as far as my mood (probably from the constant euphoria the sugar rush in the fruit gave me) but my body seemed to start giving out. I had a very physical job at the time and the vegan diet wasnt cutting it. There is collagen in meat which is a protein that helps your body recover better and look younger.

It's fine, man. It's probably the abundance of fiber that wreaking havoc on your irritated bowels. Switching to a high fiber diet can cause insane diarrhea for people without digestive issues.

Your health is important. I don't think it's something you should ignore just to go on a certain diet. If you feel that you need to eat meat & dairy, but still feel guilty there are ethical & humane sources if you do the research. Look into local farmers markets & ethical sourcing. You could also explore other diets like vegetarianism, pescitarianism, etc etc

Just find a middle ground where you feel physically healthy & emotionally healthy with your diet.

I like meat and cheese. I don't go vegan because I like meat and cheese. That's about it.

Being a meat eater isn't bad. Don't let them guilt trip you lol.

I mean...carnivores dont feel bad eating their prey. I think its great to be ethical about how theyre raised/ treated before we eat them but i dont think eating animals is wrong.

No one should be vegan or vegetarian. We are a species that is designed to eat meat. There is nutrients and vitamins in meat that our bodies need. These morons that insist on being veggies and vegans will become a drain on health services as they get older because they are neglecting their own bodies by eating unhealthily.

People have been eating meat since the beginning of time. Cavemen drew pictures on cave walls so they could fantasize about eating those four legged beasts. In a cave in France they found the prehistoric remains of a homo sapian cooking on a George Foreman grill. Apparently he died waiting for his dinner to cook since he didn't realize electric outlets hadn't been invented yet.

So do you eat the animals before or after you fuck them?

Honest question, because you think animals are smart enough to consent, but dumb enough to be chow. Interesting cognitive dissonance

Now thats reaching if ever I saw it. See im a zoo wich means I form relationships. That question would be well suited for a beastie however wich is someone who's just sexually attracted to animals. Much the same with people im not one for hooking up. Not my thing. You wouldn't your life partner would you? So why should i

Lol so you have a deep emotional relationship with animals, then you rape them & eat them?

That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for clarifying

    "--those vegan people--"

I'm almost entirely convinced you never tried and you're just an anti-vegan using this post to assert your views about what veganism can do. Your language reeks of it.

You gotta be honest here, extreme vegans are one of the most obnoxious people in the world, which is what gave OP said view on vegans in the first place.

        What about juggalos though?

Well I'm not really stating any opinions on vegans here; I'm just saying I think pretty much everyone can tell they weren't one at any point regardless.

It's up to you what you eat. Nobody is forcing you to be vegan. Do whatever you want.

      • well tbh, multivitamin plus antidepressants plus benzos worked for me. I had a severe case of ibs after a bout of autoimmune colitis. i no longer get ibs pains, which i would call a success.

          That

          I-

You seriously can't be recommending someone anti fucking depressants to fix their IBS?

They should just stick to a diet that works for them. Jumping through hoops and shoving garbage down your body for the sake of veganism is a bad idea.

          • A tricyclic antidepressant amitriptyline (brand name elavil), at a low dosage is very commonly used to treat IBS pain. Tricyclic antidepressants possess analgesic power independent of their antidepressant action. Amitriptyline is also an anticholinergic (reduces the motility of the intestines), and hence is useful in diarrhea predominant IBS.
