I know that the United States is flawed and had many problems in it's past as well as in it's present but I still love the USA and I'm glad to be a born and raised American. To me, America will always be a great country regardless of what fellow Americans and outsiders say. Is it normal that I still love my country?

Good for you! All people should love their country! Since no-matter what you are from that country. If you insult it you are just insulting yourself. Instead of bitching and praying to blow it up why not try to fix the problems? People do not care enough about countries to do shit about it. People just complain and cry while they rape it of all its benefits. It is people like this who ruin a country. Japan, UK, US, Africa! No-matter what you will always be a native of that country. Saying "Fuck England" is not going to make you anymore American. Saying "I want Japan to blow up the US" is not going to make you anymore Japanese. So to all those patriots GOOD FOR YOU! At least you have some loyalty. To hell with all the disloyal citizens. When the world is at war we are not going to say we knew you so fuck you too.
