You should have gotten a job a little sooner, but I think the problem is the economy. I am also from Socal, and I can tell you, it's hard to find a good job there. Especially when the managers dont want to hire white boys.
Yeah, that's very true. I'm a white girl and a lot of places are looking for people who are bilingual. One place told me that they would've hired me if they hadn't found someone else who could speak Spanish. Guess I better start learning the basics, maybe that'll help me get somewhere.
