Is it normal that i still can't get over him?

Ok. So my boyfriend dumped me for my best fried about a year ago and I really loved him. I got over him after a couple of months but then every time I saw him with his new girlfriend, I would burn up with jealousy! My relationship with him only lasted for two months and he had been going out with my bestie for 8 months. It cut me really deep when my friend, Bailey, ran over to me to gush about how she kissed Steven, my ex, and I just told her, cool. So is it normal that it's taking me this long to get over him? If it's not, can you maybe give me a reason why I'm acting like this? Grasias!

  • Your feelings are normal.
Your best friend is not really your friend if she treats you so callously: dating your ex and bragging about it.

  • Just by the way that was directed at the Scandinavia chick.

  • Hey thanks for your advice! It really hit home with me when you said unfinished business. Itmade me realize that you are exactly right. It was unfinished business. We never hugged, we never kissed, we never held hands or anything! And I guess that's why I feel that way. So anyway, your advice was really good and it's already had a big impact on my life. :)

  • Exes suck and aren't worth the time.

  • I have a similar situation to you, and I wish there was a solution. 1 thing is stay away from them, when you can't see something, you begin to forget it. That goes for facebook too. Another is to be happy in yourself, and be excited about YOUR future. It will take some time, but one day you'll wonder what you ever saw in him, and her (what a bitch)
