The problem with starving yourself is that you'll just keep going around in circles. Whilst you may have lost some weight now unless you plan on starving yourself forever as soon as you eat normally it will just go straight back on.
Others have already said it but you are far far far better off sticking to a healthy eating regime and exercise program. It will pay in dividends in the long run. Trust me, I lost 32lb myself a couple of years ago and have maintained a fit and healthy shape since then without having to go through the awfulness of feeling hungry all the time!
