You're not the only one. First time I got 'drunk' was when I was 11 at a barbeque/slumber party. My friends parents were having a barbeque at their house, and my friend invited a lot of her friends over to spend the night. Well..., when the barbeque was over, we got into some trouble. We snuck into the kitchen at like 1 in the morning and started drinking the left over alcohol drinks that were in the fridge.
I remember her mom had a pina colada pitcher just sitting there... looking lonely. We were curious to see what it tasted like, because all the parents were drinking it earlier that day. So we decided we'd try it, and then we ended up drinking some of her dads beer. But to make a long story short; We got into a lot of trouble for that!
I never touched alcohol again until I was 17 at a family party. And then of course there was this one other time, in the Bahamas. But even still today, if I drink, its very little. I don't even really care for the taste to be quite honest.
Thank you for responding. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with these experiences. However, I never got caught until it was too late, and I was addicted. I'm happy to know that at least one of us had the willpower to stop.
Anytime! But I'm sure a lot more people than you think are in the same predicament as you are right now. Maybe you should get counseling. I know its probably easier said than done, but start from there.
Is it normal that I started drinking at the age of 12?

Hi Ldizzy 1234,
Thank you for responding. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with these experiences. However, I never got caught until it was too late, and I was addicted. I'm happy to know that at least one of us had the willpower to stop.
Again, thank you for commenting

Hey TreeGo,
Anytime! But I'm sure a lot more people than you think are in the same predicament as you are right now. Maybe you should get counseling. I know its probably easier said than done, but start from there.
Good luck! :)
