I'm an 18 year old guy and I sometimes have a really strong urge to be a girl. I also straighten my hair (not sure if that relates at all). Is this normal?

    I think so. I'm an 18 year old girl and sometimes I feel like I want to be a boy for all the trouble my actual gender causes me. I suppose everyone has these thoughts?

      You are not necessarily GAY, goddamn you Cleo...I think this happens to all of us sometimes. Occasionally I'd rather be a boy, but that doesn't mean I'm a lesbian, because I'm not. If this urge keeps getting stronger though then yeah, you maybe ought to look at some sites and see if you might indeed be Transgender. There is nothing abnormal about that and you could find other people who think the same way that you do. If somebody else calls you something you're not I suggest telling them OTHERWISE, quite forcefully!
