Is it normal that i sometimes like lying on hard floor?

Yes:) In the hot summer days, my pets take to sleeping on the floors. My cat like to hang about and sleep on the concrete floors of the basement because it's chilly down there.

it could be that a component of this may be the comfort of subverting back to the state of mind as a child similar to the way people will curl up in the fetal position in times of great stress. Or it could be a comfortable floor :)
