Is it normal that i sometimes give myself self therapy.

So sometimes I give my self therapy, with good outcomes like it gives me an understanding on my emotions, goals and strengths. Like I found out I have a really really good vocabulary. So how I do it is by imagining me in the future, I'm famous and I'm being interviewed in a dark room. I'm being asked questions that a therapist would ask like, how do you feel? Or, how do you think others perceive you? It really has a major affect on my emotions like it can make me super depressed or super happy. Is this normal

    It's self-reflection. This is normal and wise if used in a good light. People rarely think about their actions, feelings, and own perceptions under microscopic detail. It helps maintain your own standing mentally and within others. Better decision making and understanding of why and how you feel results from it. Just do not shroud yourself in a layer of questions. Simple reflection is best.

    The only benefit to it is that you can be very honest and admit to yourself things that you might be ashamed, embarrassed or even afraid to admit to others...the value lies in total honesty with yourself...admit the truth no matter how painful or upsetting...you dont have to automatically admit it to others although that is the next step if you can

    I do this as well. I think its a pretty good way at objectively looking at yourself and your plights.
