okay so I am almost 20 and an only child living with my single mother and she is my bestfriend we do everything together but is it weird that I still sleep with her it feels more like a sleepover because we are usually up talking for a few hours but still what do you think?
My daughter is 16 and I would love for her to feel that close to me. My son slept in the same bed as me till he was about 10 and my youngest who is 5 sleeps with me. Funnily I have a much closer relationship with my son and my 5 year old daughter than I ever have had with my 16 year old and I have always thought that her not sleeping with me as a baby/child is some of the reason. Although I say I would love her to feel that close to me I don't think as a parent i would feel it normal if she still wanted to sleep with me, you don't say in the same bed but i presume thats what you mean. I think there is a bit of unhealthy need there from the mother.
Definitely not normal, It's only normal if you're a child, once you hit teen years you shouldn't want to be hanging around with your parents, especially when you go to sleep.
i think it's pretty normal, i mean you are getting alittle old for that... i slept with my mom until i was like 10.
It is not typical but I do not think it is abnormal. I know a family that all sleeps in the same room together. They have a four bedroom house, but they all sleep in the master bedroom. The mother told me it is coz the kids started sleeping with them as babies, and then never wanted to sleep in their own rooms. I think it is ok if you are both comfortable with it.
If you are a girl, maaaaayyyybbbbbeeeee it's normal. If you are a guy, definitely not.
In the same bed...? If so, not normal. Not saying that there's necessarily anything wrong with it, though; kind of cute, actually.

I dont care whether youre a guy or girl you r pretty much making excuses by saying it's like a sleepover so that it won't sound as weird you should go your seperate ways and get your own bed and house.......you can start a family with someone who is not so close to you and find a man
It is normal in that there's nothing wrong with you. However it is not normal in general for a 20 year old adult to share a bed with his or her mother. If you are okay with it, then that's fine. But don't be afraid to set boundaries if the need arises for them.

Physically you may be almost 20, but it sounds like mentally you are half that age, if not less.
Male or female... it may be Normal, IF you have a close relationship with your mom.
