Is it normal that i sleep during the day?

I'm usually awake all through the night and asleep at some point in daylight. I tried changing my sleep pattern but it's not going well. I usually go to bed whenever I feel tired, so there's no set time to sleep. Going to bed early and setting up a schedule is a waste of time for me, I would toss and turn for hours until I ultimately give up. I have ADHD btw and my brain never turns off. Training myself to get tired at certain times never worked for me for whatever reason so I go about my mess of a sleep pattern. It's always strange to people when I go to bed at 7 am in the morning lol.

Is It Normal?
