Is it normal that i shower after i poop?

I almost always take a quick shower after I poop. I've been told before, why don't you just wipe until it's clean? It's because if it's taken me more than 2 wipes and the toilet paper is still dirty, I'm not convinced that my ass is actually going to be completely clean. I feel like there's always going to be a spot that I missed. Also, I wear thongs and I think that just makes it even more disgusting if there's any leftover poop. Generally speaking, I never poop in public because I've been in scenarios where I've literally had to wipe 20 times and still didn't feel clean. If I do, I wipe myself with a wet paper towel.

      Fair enough. Helpful feedback. I don't always have an issue with wiping, but the handful of times it hasn't gone well has traumatized me lol.

    I have to wipe like 15 20 times every time and will not use public bathrooms and I have done the wet paper towel thing too

      That's the worst. It's not every time that it happens to me, but the few times it has happened has really made me not want to use public toilets. Lol

    Ever since I've lived in India I was never able to feel clean with just toilet paper either because we clean ourselves with water there. When I shower I always rinse there thoroughly.

    I don't usually shower after I poop but I do wash my butt while I am still sitting on the toilet with soap and water. I find that's the only way to keep myself completely clean after pooping.
