Maybe it's not normal, but everyone has their own fantasies and fetishes. Why should someone be able to engage in their fantasies of chains and whips but not your particular one? Many fetishes develop because of the way particular aspects of our lives are/were. One example is that someone who feels they don't have any control of their life wants to take complete control in the bedroom (dungeon). Or someone that is always experiencing the stress of being in an authoritative position wants someone else to take control. There's almost always an underlying reason for particular fetishes and many people share these fetishes because some parts of the human experience are so similar.
