My head shakes when I have to speak in front of the class. It is terrible and I cannot stop it. I have to look down in order for it to be less noticable. Only when I place pressure on it, it is better. It isn't nerves because as you say you see those people almost every day. This happened to me for the first time a few years ago out of nowhere. Before that I could speak freely in front of many people. Now, it is horrible. I have a class presentation tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it. I can imagine my head shaking now. I find it ironic how in other situations it is perfectly fine. I think that it is caused by social anxiety. It is interesting how life can suddenly turn complex over something as simple as speaking before a class.
