Is it normal that I regret not having sex in highschool?

    I don't think it's a bad thing at all, and losing your virginity is not a race.

    I actually think the fact that high school kids tend to lack responsibility would make the risk of pregnancy or STDs even worse.

    To be honest, almost everyone I knew who had sex in high school either ended up regretting it, or at the very least does not cherish the memories. They didn't end up with that person and most caved into pressure instead of doing it because they felt it was right for them.

    Don't believe all of the crap in the media about high school relationships, it is immensely over-glorified (as is most of what you see on TV).

      I guess the fact that I've never experienced it makes it seem much better then it is. I guess it's not too late yet. better to do it smart and safe.

        Very true! Also, I think the fact that it is so hyped up by society and the media most likely has a lot to do with it as well.
