If I had mental/physical handicaps you bet I would've liked to have been aborted-even after being born.

I agree, the life they lead is sad and people have to take care of them their whole life.
They contribute nothing to society and they are unable to live their lives the way they want it, though sometimes they can't even think what kind of life they want.
I'm talking about mental handicaps though, some people can live (on their own) with physical handicaps.
I wouldn't want to live with mental handicaps anyway, I couldn't do anything with my life and could barely do anything on my own, it's not an existance worth living, in my opinion.
Thank you, that's what I've been pretty much saying all along-though I admit I was crass in the beginning and probably didn't win converts to my message with that approach-but sometimes it's just more fun to be rhetorical than straight.
It's hard enough taking care of oneself and a family-let alone someone who's mentally or physically ill (genetically). I'm not including those who get injuries or develop mental disorders-that's normal and to be expected.
I don't want to be a burden on anyone and don't want anyone to be a burden on me or society.
We should be thinking about refining our species. For instance, people who are rapists and murders should be sterilized so they can't pass on their evil genes.
I'm not for eugenics, but the fact that we hear of sickos kidnapping and raping women and kids means there's something wrong and we need to be proactive about wiping out predators who prey on others.
Is it normal that I punched a mentally disabled person in the face?
