Retards are an eyesore and they take up valuable space-it is better that they are aborted at birth than allowed to grow up. They are a deficit not a benefit to society.
They exist because of leftist and Christian stupidity which thinks it is 'morally right' not to abort defective humans.
You did the right thing-sadly it'll take a while for your sister to get over that traumatic event because of this useless freak of nature.
I disagree with pretty much everything you said, except that his sister is no doubt tramatized by this and I feel very sorry she has to go through this. I'd sue whatever hospital or home the guy wandered away from, for the mental distress they caused her.
I think you'd agree with me if you were unfortunate enough to be born with physical diseases.
You seem to think the worst thing that can happen to someone is death-when in fact, the worst thing possible is living a tortured existence because of being born with genetic diseases which have no cure.
Terminating such pregnancies are an act of kindness, because we have the wisdom to know such a life is not worth living.
Can you honestly say that you'd want to be mentally or physically disabled for 70 years of your life? What kind of an existence is that?
I actually have many friends with phyical disabilities, including cerebral palsy. And you're being incredibly ignorant if you actually believe they don't deserve a chance to grow up and make their own decisions and find their own happiness. No one should be able to deem if someone else's live is worth enough to keep them around.
Your comments make you sound like a pretty defective person. Should you have been aborted? Sure, we don't have tests in pregnancy to determine if the fetus is a potential arsehole, but hey.
If I had mental/physical handicaps you bet I would've liked to have been aborted-even after being born.
I'd also rather be an 'asshole' than a mindless simpleton who bows to the wishes of a weirdo like you that thinks a world full of retards is a great place to be.
I agree, the life they lead is sad and people have to take care of them their whole life.
They contribute nothing to society and they are unable to live their lives the way they want it, though sometimes they can't even think what kind of life they want.
I'm talking about mental handicaps though, some people can live (on their own) with physical handicaps.
I wouldn't want to live with mental handicaps anyway, I couldn't do anything with my life and could barely do anything on my own, it's not an existance worth living, in my opinion.
Thank you, that's what I've been pretty much saying all along-though I admit I was crass in the beginning and probably didn't win converts to my message with that approach-but sometimes it's just more fun to be rhetorical than straight.
It's hard enough taking care of oneself and a family-let alone someone who's mentally or physically ill (genetically). I'm not including those who get injuries or develop mental disorders-that's normal and to be expected.
I don't want to be a burden on anyone and don't want anyone to be a burden on me or society.
We should be thinking about refining our species. For instance, people who are rapists and murders should be sterilized so they can't pass on their evil genes.
I'm not for eugenics, but the fact that we hear of sickos kidnapping and raping women and kids means there's something wrong and we need to be proactive about wiping out predators who prey on others.
Is it normal that I punched a mentally disabled person in the face?

everyone's entitled to their opinion, regardless of how extreme it is. maybe there's a reason behind lufa's thoughts about the disabled

Agreed.
Yeah, and you're on the other end of the spectrum. Sociopath. Better for a late-term, I say.
