Is it normal that i prefer to have male friends

most of my friends are guys. I would befriend a gay guy much quicker then I would another female. I've always been this way even when I was little. I never wanted to play tea party. I just wanted all the snacks then I was out. I wanted the dresses and shit but I always wanted to just play with the boys and do boy stuff. it's not that I hate or don't have other female friends I just have so few of them and I dont care to have anymore. and when I say friend I mean that in a sincere way. not just someone you say hey to or like a work friend I mean a genuine friend. am I the only one who feels that way?

    Sure, I don't think you're abnormal, because a lot of girls just want to hold court and tell you about their feelings whether you want to hear about that stuff or not. They also ask you about your deepest feelings, but a lot of them just want to use that shit to emotionally blackmail you.

    I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with talking about your feelings. I talk about my feelings too, and sometimes I'm all about my feelings, but it's weird and hella creepy when people want to get all deep talking about feelings from the get go when you hardly know them. I'm not saying that there aren't guys who do that shit, because there are, but I find that it's mostly females.

    Just the general cattiness with a lot of other females can be a turn off that would discourage one from seeking out a lot of female friends.

    I grew up with mostly boys, and so I can be tomboyish. Over time though, I've developed more girl friends.
