Is it normal that i prefer to drink hot water?

Instead of drinking cold water at work, I prefer to drink 5-6 cups of hot water a day. Its the water you would use to make tea, but instead of making tea I just drink the water. My coworkers think it is strange and I should just drink decaf tea instead.

Is it normal?

      I've actually heard that... Well warm water at least, is apparently better for you than cold.

    It's perfectly normal for me at least I drink hot water as well. Drinking tea instead isn't necessarily the best idea. Even decaf tea is a dehydrator, drinking water is better for you.

          I mean bottled water. Only tap water in some locations have lead in them. If you heat up bottled water you're fine.

    I hate warm or hot water, I'm not sure why. I enjoy hot tea, but if it were just straight water, I can't drink it.

    I don't think there's anything bad about it. Why is it that when people drink cold water no one bats an eye? Is it because they believe that cold water is more refreshing than hot or lukewarm? The thing is any temperature is fine, the water will still do its job. I can't stand the taste of water and if I drink it has to flavoured. Lately, I'll only drink water if it's sparkling mineral water with citrus juice and stevia. For other prepared drinks like coffee or tea, I HAVE to use my sparkling mineral water otherwise, it tastes strange... I'm sure some people will think my preferences are odd:P

    Is really not normal or abnormal it's a preference... I've never seen someone prefer hot water to cold but is really no big deal... Hot or cold, enjoy your water :)
