It makes no logical sense to me to want to drive a manual transmission, especially if you live in the city. With all of the other things you need to concentrate on while driving, why give yourself more work? How about we go back to manual brakes and steering too so you can really "feel" what you're doing. The other downside is being a passenger in a manual car. No matter how smooth a person thinks they can shift, they can't shift as smoothly as an automatic and the passengers often feel nauseous with all that shifting up and down. Positively horrible.
