Let me guess, you're a gamer.
Hhmm, Ok.
What do you gain that is of value from the time you spent?
Money?, produce like in farming?,
Something to eat, wear, sell, trade, all you did was play with yourself.
mental masturbation.
If you have a brain and a fit body.
Use it to better yourself and others.
Instead of being a sponge.
I agree completely. Thankfully gaming is something I'm loosing interest in. Theres many languages I desire to learn but maintaining the motivation is something that in finding hella difficult. Using your mind or body in a positive manner in your free time can be one of the hardest things you'll ever do
I dont know about ( babble)
But I wouldnt recommend roseta stone.
Diferent people learn in diferent ways of course.
But roseta did not work for me.
And yes very difficult to self motivate to stay at it.
I have problem working, but trying to learn a new thing throgh books, is a challenge.
( roseta is on computer, but it involves reading, speaking, typing.)
Duolingo is okay. From what I can tell, the Spanish is decent at best and flat out wrong at worst. I can't say anything about the German or Esperanto, though. I'm just hoping those are correct.
I dont like duolingo at all. Itll show me some characters how to pronounce it then suddenly itd like what's this word? Wrong. Ok what's this word? Like how the f am I supposed to know
Personally, I (not the OP) find that I gain quite a lot from games. I gain joy, I gain inspiration, I gain lots of great quotes, and I gain the ability to recommend games that can give others joy, inspiration, and great quotes.
Clunk.
I can relate to a point.
I can see, sitting on your ass doing nothing for a few hours to unwind.
Thats t.v. in general.
Did you read the post?
Hes an ADDICT, doing it
ALL DAY,
EVERY DAY.
That's not healthy.
You're right. It's not healthy. I don't even know how someone could have fun playing the same game all day. I've been playing Baldur's Gate recently, and I can't stand more than a few hours of that game without getting bored.
If you beat a really hard game, you do have something to be proud of. For example, if you beat the original Baldur's Gate 2 on the hardest difficulty without loading a previous save, then you have every right to brag about it.
Raisin.
Taking a break is nothing to hide, or be ashamed of.
We all have our ways to relax.
But, when that thing becomes an addiction.
or as adult you live a false life.
Because you have no real one.
Then it becomes an issue.
As, sooner or later those folks become a drag on society.
IIN that I play animal crossing nearly all day, everyday?

No game is a hobby, or anything to ever be proud of. As someone who plays games, I keep it hidden like a shameful family secret.
