Is it normal that i permanently avoid spicy things?

So its 13th of October 2020,I ate a spicy gizzard and potato curry with ghost pepper extract ( my friends dared me to do it ) I ate that to the point that it messed my belly up and I went to the toilet all evening all night I went to the toilet everytime, not only did that happen but it got to the point that my diarrhea had splattered the whole toilet and had to clean it up before my mom and dad came ( they're really over reactive about the bathroom being dirty ).

So yeah lesson learnt: Don't do anything that my friends tell me to and never eat anything really spicy without knowing the dangers and side effects.

I don't think it's "over reactive" to expect people to clean up when they've shit all over something, but that's by the by...

Do your friends also participate in this kind of dare? You should dare them back. See how they like it.

If you drank a lot of soda or coffee the same day, that'll make eating spicy food worse for your system

    • For real, I see people smother their food with the spiciest of ingredients to their seemingly apparent pride and joy and I'm just like "are you depraved"

I love spicy food but I also like flavor lol, I recently cooked curry for the first time and it's like layers of flavors that come in waves

No it’s not normal. The spicier the better.

I like spicy food, but I will admit that liking spicy food doesn't really make sense unless you're a masochist. Spicy isn't a flavor, it's just pain on your tongue

I like it, but I don't find it painful. Just a pleasant heat.
