Me too. I write deep shit too. Stuff about love, heartache, death, life, etc. But for some reason I feel like it should be kept a secret.
I think it's normal. For me, it's my outlet to my truer self. The side that I find difficult to show to the public. The side of me that I seldom show.
One night my mom went into my bedroom for something, and I practically went into panic mode. I thought she had found my stash of poetry. I was freaking out! I was like, "What are you doing? What are you looking for?". I never let on why I was acting that way, but I think it seemed pretty obvious that I was hiding something.
I'm okay with telling people that I write, but some stuff I will not show. Show what you wanna show.
