Is it normal that i only want one best friend?

Out of all those friends I could have, I would only want one super close best friend. It makes sense though to me, because a "best" friend would be the best friend out of all your friends! And I have this one friend who has like 6 or 7 best friends. Is it normal to only want one?

    I only consider one person in my life to actually be my friend, despite how two faced that sounds. With everyone else I tend to fake who I am, but with my best friend I get to be me, because he's like me in his own fucked up way, if that makes sense.

    I only like one best friend. Usually all the others ones are messed up.
