Is it normal that I only gain weight on my stomach area?

  • Yeah, it is genetic. Where people store their fat is almost entirely genetic. Some women in my family store their fat in their stomach and as a result, their children do the same and funny enough, so does my sister.

    However, my Mom stores her fat in her legs, ass and thighs and consequently, as I take more after her lineage of the family than anyone else, so do I.

    There are many weight loss techniques you can try however, without knowing the finer aspects of your physiology and your lifestyle (and without the medical expertise!) I really can't recommend anything serious to you. Diet and exercise is the typical recommendation, however, if you are serious about weight loss, you can consult a nutritionist and get on a diet plan that most suits your needs.
