Is it normal that I often find poor people annoying?

  • They may be entitled to go to university but what about student loans compared to the 'poor' unemployed parents whose children don't have to pay fees?

I sort of agree with the OP coz I've been stung recently by a 'poor' pal until it emerged that she actually gets over £4,700+ a month with no rent or council tax to pay!! She's a foster parent and the £450/week per child doesn't effect their social security benefits including income support!!!
What a laugh! She was earning more money than working men's wages who are trying to keep a family and pay a mortgage!

I was paying every thing for her coz she initially told me she only got £70/week on income support.

WRF?? Thought it was funny she was able to smoke so much! Since discovered she's a shopaholic buying cheap crap!

      • I'm stunned at the fees for foster parents and their wages not counting towards tax. AND being paid on top of Income Support!!!

We are all missing a trick here!

I should pack them in, in bunk beds!!

        £450/week each one!

        • It does help, actually. My dad grew up really poor, so his family took in foster kids. The cost to add one more child to an already large household isn't that high.
