Is it normal that i never had the flu ever in my life?

As a kid and adult, I have dealt with a lot of colds (and yes they included fevers) but I never felt so weak that I couldn't do something very simple like lifting a cup.

I am 21, btw, Is this normal?

Less than 1% of the US population gets the flu each year, so statistically it’s normal that you’ve never had it, but about 60 million other Americans have had flu during your lifetime. That’s still less than 1 in 5 over 21 years.
Some ppl get it every year, and hopefully those ppl are getting the flu shot. Based on the statistics, I’d say it’s safe to say some ppl will never get it in their entire lifetime. Consider yourself lucky.

nice data. a good read. its normal to get infected with the flu and defeat it within hours and be well the same day. this is how our species did it in the past. the deaths of 1918 Spanish flu were due to Reyes syndrome introduced with newly marketed Bayer aspirin im massively unrealistic doses and secondary bacterial infections with haemopphilus influenza without any antibiotic therapy in the day. All proven.

Thanks. I’ll have to read up on that, although I don’t see many infections in my work - real docs deal with most of it.

Sounds rare but it's great. You may have some good health genetics. If you also have a decent IQ, do society a favor and have many children.
