I'm from Europe and it seems this story confirms the stereotype of fast-food eating Americans. :-)
I don't really like fast food either. Occasionally it's OK, like if you're at an event or something and your kitchen is out of reach. But I really couldn't eat it every single day.
Being given so much fast food as a kid just cured you for life! :-)
When you go with your mom to some fastfood place, just bring your own lunchbox. :-) Perhaps even better, invite her over to your place to eat some proper food together.
