PTSD,lose of wife brother mother father cousins family members in general dear friends state of the world.Shall I go on?there is plenty enough to go around.Did you ever watch Monk on TV?Apparently you try to lead them down new avenues if it is a moderately severe condition such as this sounds.I don't believe in psychotropic drugs,for people with OCD,and have seen progress pursuing these types of..."conditioning"measures.Being a codependent is not my forte.
