Breaking up with him should have been the end of it. You were hurt and that’s a normal way to feel when you believe you have been betrayed. But seeking revenge for it reduces your integrity in the end.
Personally, I have never sought any type of revenge at the end of a relationship because I know that's not the person I want to be.
Making a fake Craigslist ad for a joke is normal, but doing it for revenge is petty.
