Ha ha, I came onto this post because I thought it was going to be newage claptrap about Higher Selves and wanted a laugh and someone to have a go at ...... I'm disappointed!
I've never heard of anyone doing this but it sounds ok to me and could be quite interesting as long as the high self doesn't intrude into the unhigh part of your life.
I once had a black woman lover who'd made up a pretend white maid (I think she was called Esmerelda?) who only rarely turned up for work and never did her job properly. We used to have long raves about that lazy incompetent non-existent maid.
Nah, it was a short fling but that was OK bc we'd been friends before the fling and stayed friends after it, although I have lost touch with her over recent years.
