  • IQ is one measure of "intelligence", schoolwork is another. Although some of the 'skills' (for lack of a better word) you have may ensure a high score in one, it may not be particularly helpful to the other. For example, having the ability to solve a visual puzzle, in an IQ test, in 2 seconds, doesn't necessarily mean you could pen a wonderful essay for an English class.

    Also, it's worth noting that an IQ test is more of a measure of how easily you can pick up and apply knowledge, rather than how much knowledge you have accumulated (which is typical of a lot of school exams).

    So, don't beat yourself up over it!
