Since generally when I hear people with this complaint its straight people assuming they are gay since they are tomboy. Not gays assuming they are gay because they are tomboys.
I never said Irony and odd are the same thing. You just do not see how its ironic. Just because you do not see the Irony in this story does not mean I miss used the word.
Just because you do not see the irony does not mean there is not irony in it. You just do not see it. Its kind of like saying you dont get a joke so there must not be a joke. That does not mean a joke but the joke went over your head. Clearly my comment did to but not as though it really matters.
