Theological divisions in society is relevant. History has shown us time and again that these divisions cause war, terror, hatred, distrust and numerous other behaviours that are detrimental to peaceful and civil society.
I in no way, shape or form said that everyone should be exactly the same. Division in society is necessary (for now) in other ways, such as the division of labour.
I'm not saying that everyone should immediately discard their beliefs, but they should try to heal these divisions. For instance, if you belong to a particular religious institution that is divided into sects, you should try to find the commonality, and focus on what you have alike, rather than on your differences. At the same time, you should acknowledge that there are people that are of other religious belief and people who are not religious.
Ultimately, we should have a world where people would describe themselves or others as simply; religious, not religious or Enlightened (this requires at least a basic understanding of the actual nature of the Universe).
You are contributing to these divisions and perpetuating them if you continually make references to them (and the English language and other languages are full of divisive religious terms).
Is it normal that I'm tired of anti-Christians?
