    How can any person have a truly objective point of view, when they are subjected to a particular point of view?

      Meaning to discard your feelings and prior experiences of the belief as best as you can while you are doing said research to make the claim.

      If you think something is bullshit to begin with and you are determined to hold on to that opinion, then you'll more than likely be unwilling to do the research and keep an open mind, assuming you are the "average person".
