man i sleep a lot and i am 25. i usually go to bed at 11pm. wake up at 6am or even 7am. then i will be awake with my daughter for few hrs and i get so sleepy my eyelids just won't stay open. and i pass out while my daughter(almost 2 now) is still awake. is something wrong with me??
i also have had blood work done!!and everything comes out normal too!no problems,no std,no sickness. nothing. i jsut can't figure it out. i use to sleep so well before i got pregnant. and i use to be able to wake up every single day at 7 pr 8am and work until 6pm. and i would go to bed at 9pm. now i just sleep. i dno whats wrong with me????am i normal?or is it just my body being liek this cause i had a baby almost two yrs ago?
Thank you all for your comments, glad to know a lot of other people have experienced this and gotten over it too. I think I need around 9-10 hours of sleep but I don't sleep good at all during the night. I will randomly wake up at 4 and 5 in the morning and have trouble going back too sleep so I will try some of your guys suggestions and see how it goes. And too jules I am getting roughly 8 hours not counting the time I am awake in the middle of the night.
Thanks
How much sleep are you getting? The average amount a person needs is 8 hours a night, but that isn't true for everyone. I need 9 or 10. What you should do is go to bed at your regular time ( on a weekend so you don't have to get up early ) then see how long you sleep. That will be the amount of sleep your body naaturally wants.
Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. It's a natural way to give your body energy. It's also cause you are 17. Your still growing believe it or not. Oh and try buying and eating local honey. (not store nought in a jar try getting it at a farmers market) because the bees polinate plants in your area it helps act as a vaccine almost when you eat it. Or high doses of vitamin c. The honey thing is assuming that it's hayfever and pollen allergies.
I was the same way! I think it has something to do with the age. I was alway so sleepy, even when I went out and was having fun. My mother thought I was a whole list of things from depressed to prego! I got over it soon enough, it still happens to me every now and again but I just chalk it up to my busy life!
