I've loved Russian for as long as I remember, it just sounds so awesome and I love russia. Is this normal? I'm immediatly jeaous when someone says theyre from Russia or theyre russian.

NO lol , but ya thats another downside to dating a Russian, everyone thinks you mail ordered a girl lol, even my family was raising eyebrows and shit.. I was like hot damn i met her at the park ffs she's been in the states since she was 12! But even then the whole mail order jokes never stopped from my brothers haha
Russia is a Big Place (11 time zones). Some of those places like Siberia seem inhospitable - it's so cold. More to your point I met Australians during the 1984 Worlds Fair and became convinced that's where I wanted to live and loved the accent. That lasted about 20 years. S I think it's quite normal. I'll do it in my next life.
