Is it normal that i'm still single?!?

Okay, so I'm 18 (I'll be 19 in 2 months) and I still haven't had a boyfriend or been kissed or any of that stuff. I'm kinda shy, and I'm working on putting myself out there more. As for looks, I'm 5'7", average weight and appearance. But at this point, I've kinda lost faith that it will ever happen for me. I don't need a guy to make me happy, but it would definitely be nice to have someone. Is this normal? Any advice?

You will get stupid comments from people on this site saying stuff like, "Youre a freak!", or "Youve never had your first kiss and you're single at 18!?!"

It's no biggie. I'm 19 and haven't had a REAL girlfriend. You're not the only one. You're yuing.

  • Same boat..except I'm not a virgin. 19 years old never had a boyfriend. I'm not ugly and i only occasionally hook up with guys when I'm drunk because of social pressure to have a sex life. Generally speaking, I don't get any action though. I don't know how to find a boyfriend and don't understand how it's easy for so many girls.

I was nineteen when i got my first boyfriend and kiss. I just met someone I thought I liked, and had some courage. I also used online dating sites for help meeting him since I don't go out

It will change, just flirt around, and make yourself stand out a bit. Try switching stuff up that's been the same for a while, hair, clothing, all that stuff helps build confidence.

I never had a problem getting dates, but when I hit a year long "slow season" I felt I needed an change, got new clothes, and things are looking up jah
