You're absolutely right! People should take responsibility for their mess in their life and just take care of their own stupid human issues instead of adopting those beasts and live with them as they are the same species. People who cohabitate with animals are insecure and retarded.
They want something to control. Because they are too weak,selfish, lazy and irresponsible to make children, so they want something that is inferior to them, so they can have a companion in their pathetic life that they won't have to educate and raise because they lack the ability to do that.
The irresponsibility and ignorance are more for things like letting their pets get pregnant/impregnate another pet, feeding them table scraps and/or letting them get obese and then calling them "cute" (newsflash to some of you out there: a fat animal does not equate to a cute animal), and giving the pet away because "we just don't have the time to give him the attention he needs right now!". I actually saw an ad on Facebook for a ten-month-old Labrador, being given away for that reason. Really? They thought a young lab would be an effing couch potato?? See -- ignorance. Pet owners like this should be shot.
On the other hand, responsible pet owners deserve pet-friendly housing options. Don't restrict what is already very limited.

this is going a bit far. there are noble reasons for having pets. but there are too many people who don't put enough thought into it.
People just need to be responsible, considerate, and do things that make sense.
But you do raise the philosophical question of the morality of breeding pets in the first place. interesting to think about.

This goes into the top 10 stupidest thing i have ever read. I won't even argue,i highly doubt you would understand.
Or maybe they just love animals and want to give them a safe happy home. Animals can be very amusing and a comfort.
