"In Neo-Freudian psychology, the Electra complex, as proposed by Carl Gustav Jung, is a girl’s psychosexual competition with [her] mother for possession of [her] father."
Generally speaking, an elektra complex stems from a woman's attraction to her father. I was stating, humorously, that she was displacing this desire, and finding herself attracted to her professor, due to similarities between the professor and her father. And wikipedia is unreliable. Find your facts from credible sources before you go out trolling. :)
No, I wasn't trying to be a troll. I do apologize if you thought I was. I just wanted to understand what you were trying to say or the joke you were making.
So you are saying that she has the Electra complex for her professor who is therefor presumably similar to her father right?
Is it normal that i'm sexually attracted to my professor?
