actually it is not normal to be afraid of the government, i know you might be afraid but think again it isn't normal but it's just how the world is...

Im more afraid of big corporations, who buy their way into government.

I think everyone regardless of political views is scared of living under an authoritarian government.

I want to say though that I grew up under a police state and it honestly isn't that bad. My advice if you find yourself under an authoritarian government is to learn to take things as they come, since a lot more is outside of your control in such a situation. I guess you just get used to it. Though you end up realising that anything political you do will have consequences so it makes you really think about things that should be simple.
