Its not a hysterectomy. She kept everything. What the ablation does is cauterize all the blood vessels on the uterine wall which stops the cycle. At times she would still get a mild cramp or 2. She already had a tubal so it's not a issue there. But if you want children I don't think you can get it done. But as for menopause that didn't start for about 8 years later. She was 36 when she got it and started getting the symptoms of menopause at around 42 or so.. hot flashes and night sweating, etc.
