Could care less about friends, would be nice to find a pet though. Some one to take care of you know feed, bathe, listen to, join in activites with, excercise, etc etc.
You humans may say a wife or what not, but all they do is nag, and argue, and frown if you discipline them.

Ugh uhm closer to an ape though a bit more devolved. Apes have shown civility and structure in the wild
