Look...It doesn't sound like he's necessarily hitting on you...But think of it this way. It's hard for straight men and women to be friends without one or the other having feelings. It's not impossible...and the other that knows its never going to happen usually just tries to push those feelings back. It does mean that either won't flirt with the other. I'm straight....but I flirt with everyone. Well you would considering it flirting with Women and ballbusting with Men...whatever....I'm a big goof. I bust on my friend and I treat strangers like I know them from the get go.
He's probably flirting a little bit. Just let the guy know that you're getting that feeling from him...and you just want him to know you think the world of him but that you're interested in a friendship only. Set the boundaries as one user set before...and be gentle...because its a kick in the balls or chach to have to talk had to you...be it from a man or woman.
