Is it normal that i'm only interested in jerks?

Ever since I started dating properly the only people I have fallen in 'love' with have been absolute jerks. I think I'm attracted to broken people, not even the bad boy image of hot men (which would be normal) as one of them was much, much less attractive than me. Is this normal? Does anyone else do this, either on purpose or sub-consciously?

    I know what the word jerk means, but you really have to give us a better definition and understanding of these men in order for us to comment on it

    i think girls like assertive men, and men like sexy women. unfortunately, assertive men can also be jerks, and hot women can also be stuck-up/needy

    See, women are always complaining about how there arent't any nice, caring guys anymore, but it's their fault. Guys want to be in relationships, and since all these women like jerks, guys try to be jerks.
