It happens. I felt in love with some celebrities. I had no interest in dating. But I have a boyfriend now who I love and now I'm coming to this site asking if my emotions about him are normal because I'm attached to him in some ways that are weird but for the most part I spend lots of time alone and we both seem to like it his way. We are growing closer. Not saying you'll be like me but that you may certainly find someone in real life who is interesting without expecting it. I am transitioning to having a real bf and all the expectations and challenges. I find I enjoy the thought of him very much but get confused what to do in person...
As for fantasizing about fiction; we fantasize about these characters because they are already perfect and so are we in our minds.
Is it normal that I'm only interested in fictional characters?
