I went to a really small junior high in the country. My grade was the very biggest in the school, but only had forty or fifty students in it. We had very few girls in our class compared to boys for whatever reason. All of the girlie girls stuck together in this one big clique, leaving the rest of the girls, mostly tomboys, to hang out with the boys. Most of the boys' groups had at least one of these girls in them. This was all we knew, so we thought it was completely normal behaviour for girls. To us, some annoying girls clung together self-consciously and ridiculed the world, and the "cool" girls hung out with us boys. So, at least from my perspective, you're more than "normal", you're pretty awesome. BTW, my group in junior high had two girls in it, and all the rest were boys.
