But that is generalizing. It also seems like you've become caught up in a sort of orientalism fetishization situation because of what you see from media. I personally don't think one can simply know a culture from what they get from a small outlet of media that isn't even always presented by that culture or for the people of it. Tbh you're just being fed a market strategy by entertainment bussinesses that only harms these dudes you think you know and love. Don't let something like ethnicity be a deal breaker ad to whether or not someone is worth your time, because then you're determining people's worth by something they literally have no control over. I assume you're from a small town which is why your idea of what the archetype asian guy looks like is so close minded(not saying that to be insulting) but there are numerous countries in asia, and you seem to only know the media created idea of guys. I suggest going to the countries not to release all of your gross fetish ideals, but for a wake up call.

and btw, it's not just anime and media I get my knowledge from, but I have read loads of stuff on the internet from Asian guys or white girls that have dated Asain guys and they all say that they are more polite/shy overall, because of the way their culture is. I know guys are the same everywhere, but culture does shape how they act and behave.
